Off2CollegeTours.com is a travel advisory company, which offer links for parents to make travel arrangements through our affiliation with Orbitz, the online travel service. We are not here to get involved in the school choice process - that's between a parent, his and/or her child, and their high school college counselor. Once you have choosen your candidate-schools, we will help: whether for an overnight at State U, or 10 days across the country looking at liberal arts colleges and mid-sized universities. We are people who have gone through the college-search and -visit process ourselves, and how to navigate through multiple school websites to find the information you'll need to put a trip like this together. Company Founder, Murray Miller, a 25+ year film and television Location Manager based in Hollywood, built a career researching, scouting and planning logistics for film locations across the country. Among his responsibilities were arranging air travel, rental cars, and hotel accommodations, as well as routing everyone to the set in the morning. Talking with other parents who have struggled with the College Tour process, Murray realized the work-tools he’d honed over years in the entertainment industry might be of benefit to others - and Off2CollegeTours.com was born. We at Off2CollegeTours.com have an abiding interest in children and their pursuit of higher education, and think our logistical knowledge and experience can relieve some of the anxiety that surrounds this important rite of passage with, and for, your child.
